Hello Petaloo Fans and welcome to the Petaloo/Simple Stories Blog Hop! The Simple Story collections are just so adorable so much fun to play with! First up I have 3 tags that I have created with the Sunshine & Happiness Collection.

 

 

Here is a close up of each of the tags…this collection from Simple Stories has fun stickers and chipboard pieces that made creating these tags so easy!

 

 

 

 

Omy I am in love with the Petaloo blooms…they go perfectly with this collection! The NEW Gerbers are just gorgeous! I have also added in some Berry Picks, Dogwoods and the pretty blue ones are from the Blossom BulkPack.

 

 

 

I also created a layout using Simple Stories Bloom & Grow collection..another super fun collection for all of your summer layouts!

 

 

 

Look at all of the super cute stickers and chipboard pieces from this collection!

 

 

I created the clusters with Petaloo Darjeeling Minis and Petties and tucked in some Blueberry picks. Once again the colors go perfectly with this collection!

Hello Petaloo Fans and welcome to the Petaloo/Authentique “Summer is Coming” Blog Hop! My layout is created with the Authentique Utopia collection and it just screams summer fun paired with the gorgeous tropical colors of the Petaloo blooms and trims! The Utopia collection has lots of fun tags and stickers and extras to add to your creations!

 

 

 

Look at those gorgeous Petaloo flowers and trims. I just adore the rich colors! The cluster has a mix of Mini Burlap, Dogwood Canvas, Burlap Trims and pieces from the Mixed Textured Layers.

Love - Spring Layout with Shona

 

Hello Petaloo Fans! It is Spring in Canada and today I have a layout to celebrate the arrival of Spring. There is nothing like finally going out for a walk as the weather gets warmer. I have used papers from my April Flying Unicorn kit and lots of yummy Petaloo Blooms and trims to finish it all off.  

 

My clusters are a variety of Petaloo flowers. Pieces from the Penny Lane Mixed Blossoms and Mini Daisys with a few Chantilly Hydrangeas and pieces from a Berry Spray. The center piece flowers are from the Burlap Ivory set…the details on them are amazing!

 

 

Look at those gorgeous flowers…what a beautiful mix! I also added pieces of lace from the Fancy Trims Cream set.

Hello Petaloo Fans! Shona here today, and I have a layout to share featuring Graphic 45's Mon Amour Collection and lots of gorgeous Petaloo blooms and trims! I had lots of fun making this layout and adding in just a touch of mixed media.

 

 

 

I added some Cream Fancy Trims in the background around the photo. For my clusters I used many different Petaloo flowers with the Coral Botanica Bloom as the center piece flower. I also tucked in fussy cut pieces from the G45 collection.

 

 

Once the main flower was placed I just started to add more to the clusters until they were just right. Penny Lane Forget Me Nots, Mini Daisys and Mixed Blossoms were the perfect pieces to fill it all in! I just adore the detail on those cute little flowers!

Spring is in the Air with Shona

 

Hello Petaloo Fans! Shona here today! Spring is in the air and today I have a fun Spring project to share with you! I have used the Graphic 45 Childrens Hour Collection and lots of pretty Petaloo blooms to create this altered box and tag set!

 

Gorgeous Spring colors of Purples and Greens…and the Petaloo flowers just match the gorgeous G45 papers perfectly! For my clusters I used Botanica Blooms and Petites with a few Burlap Blossoms tucked it.

 

 

Such pretty colors and the Spring Berry Clusters tucked into the cluster is just perfect!

 

 

 

As I start to open the box you can see the cute little pieces from the G45 papers.

 

 

Inside the box I have created some Spring Tags.

 

 

 

I have used the same Botanica and Burlap blooms with some added Velvet Hydrangeas on the tags.

 

 

What a beautiful match of G45 and Petaloo…Happy Spring everyone!

Valentine Pocket Tag Set

 

Hello Petaloo Fans! Shona here today, and I have a fun Valentines pocket card to share, created with Graphic 45 Childrens Hour Collection and lots of yummy Petaloo Blooms and Trims.

 

 

 

I love making tags with a matching pocket envelope to place them in. Here is a pic of the Pocket embellished with lots of Petaloo Botanica and Velvet Dogwood flowers. I added a piece from the Crochet Lace Fancy Trim set, on the bottom of the pocket and the tag. Such pretty trims!

 

 

 

This is the tag that is tucked inside of the pocket. It has the same flowers as the pocket piece with a few extras added in….and I added in a gorgeous Spring Berry Cluster, they are one of my favs! The chippys are from Creative Embellishments and I find that painting them white makes the colors of the Petaloo blooms just pop!

 

 

 

One last close up of the tag…those flowers are just gorgeous!

Valentine's Day with Graphic 45 and Petaloo Blog Hop

 

Welcome to DAY FIVE of our

VALENTINES BLOG HOP with Graphic 45!! 

All this week we will be creating Valentines Day cards, layouts, home decor projects and so much more featuring "Children's Hour" paper and embellishments from Graphic 45 along with coordinating BOTANICA flowers, berries and trims from Petaloo!!

 

This sweet paper collection contains a different design for each month of the year! We had so much fun "playing" with the February paper for our Valentines Day theme! We hope you are inspired by our creations!!

Let's get the fun started with our Guest Designer and newest Petaloo Design Team Member ...

We are so thrilled to have Shona join us for the Valentines Hop and to join us as a Petaloo DT member!  Welcome Shona :)

 

Hi Petaloo Fans! My Name is Shona Keehn and I am so thrilled to be a here this month at Petaloo…I just LOVE all of their gorgeous products, and always have so much fun playing with them. Petaloo is the perfect match for the Graphic 45 Childrens Hour collection…all of the products compliment each other! I have 3 projects to share today. First is a super easy card with a tutorial to go with it.

 

 

I cut some pieces from the Graphic 45 Childrens Hour collection and from the Childrens Hour Calander book. I punched out 4 hearts in different sizes and distressed and inked the edges on them all. I also used a piece from the Decorative Chipboard pack.

 

 

 

 

Layer all of your pieces and adhere to a card. I added some burlap from the Petaloo Burlap Trims Cream set on the chipboard piece with some seam binding. I also tucked in a few scrap pieces of lace under the card layers.

 

 

 

Layer your hearts one on top of the other to create two hearts with layers. Add those and lots of gorgeous Petaloo blooms to the card. I have added Botanica blooms, Chantilly Velvet Hydrangeas, Vintage Velvet Dogwood and Spring Berry Clusters.

 

 

The final touch was to add a fussy cut sentiment from the Childrens Hour collection.

 

 

 

 

 

 

What better gift to give to my hubby with this card than an altered dish full of his favourite candies! He is going to love this!

 

 

 

 

 

I made more of those cute layerd hearts from the Childrens Hour collection and tucked them into the lid cluster. Once again I have added Botanica blooms, Chantilly Velvet Hydrangeas, Vintage Velvet Dogwood and Spring Berry Clusters.

 

 

Decorate the sides with a few added Chantilly Velvet Hydrangeas and pieces from the Petaloo Burlap Trims Cream set.

 

 

Look at those gorgeous Petaloos blooms…YUMMY!

 

 

My last project is a layout.

 

 

I created a small cluster on the right side with some pieces from the Childrens Hour Collection and tucked in a few Petaloo Chantilly Velvet Hydrangeas.

 

 

The photo is high lighted with two clusters of Botanica blooms, Chantilly Velvet Hydrangeas, Vintage Velvet Dogwood and Spring Berry Clusters. I added in some Creative Embellishments chippys and added some Childrens Hour Alpha stickers to that cute little chippy banner!

 

 

 

 

 

I had so much fun being designing for the hop this month…Designing for Petaloo is like a scrappy dream come true! Such gorgeous products to play with! Take care and Happy Scrapping!
