My FAVORITE Pumpkin.....

My daughter visited a local apple orchard, Windy Ridge, with her boys.
It's a wonderful fall "to go to" place here in Northern NH.
She took some AMAZING photos of her little,
which I COULDN'T wait to scrap!

I used Authentique's Spirited Collection ~ Eerie and Ominous papers
adhered to cardboard and diecut, to create my pumpkin patch.

The Authentique ~ Spirited ~ Components, Circles & Scallops
and Stamp Blocks were just PERFECT to accent my layout.

I created a bit of a "road sign" by cutting up
the "You Are My Little Pumpkin" banner.

I then poceeded to us Petaloo ~ Fancy Trims and 
LOTS of VARIOUS Petaloo flowers to create the base of
my "Pumpkin Patch"!

I had the BEST TIME mixing the various Petaloo blooms,
utilizing different textures and sizes,
to keep the "Pumpkin Patch" looking a bit "manly".

I accented the floral border with diecut Maple Leaves
keeping in the Fall theme.

Fall Inspired Layout

Hello everyone! It's Irene here again and today I'm sharing with you a Fall inspired layout. I've used an acrylic as the base for this layout and pattern papers by Graphic 45 to decorate it. To enhance the fall look on this layout, I've used tons of coordinating flowers by Petaloo.

I've used a mixture of flowers from the Botanica collection with the Textured collection to embellish this layout.

Back to School with Sandi ...

Hi everyone...Sandi back with you today to share another "Back to School" Project. This time I am sharing a layout of my sweet girl and her first day of school last year. It will only be a couple of weeks and I will be taking another of those photos....time goes so fast!

 

  

I started with a sheet of white Core'dinations cardstock and used another sheet of white to cut strips to layer under my photo. I alternated those strips with pieces of Petaloo Fancy Trims from the white collection.

 

 

I then added layers of molding paste, stamps and mists. The flower clusters consists of beautiful flowers from the Darjeeling Collections ranging in the different sizes. Here are a few closeups...

 

 

 

I sanded the edges of the Core'dinations tags using the Sand It tool and tucked beneath my photo. Love how it gave the tags a "denim" look.

Hey there everyone, so glad you have stopped by the Petaloo blog today.  We have some amazing projects to share with you this week for our Core'dinations blog hop.  Today i'm sharing a layout with you.  It's my daughters Senior year....and yes I have a little catching up to do on her book before graduation.  I love to mat my photos and on this layout wanted to make the "2013" pop and not blend in with the background paper so I matted that as well.

Here is a little close up for you.  The Core'dinations cardstock is simply amazing....I love to sand the edges or emboss with it.  For this layout I used the Petaloo Darjeeling Mini (autumn) and Mini Daises (red)...they matched perfectly with the paper.

Hello everyone! Today is my turn to share my project for the Petaloo and Core'dinations hop! I'm sure many of us love to take pictures of our kids during their first day of school. Above is a layout which I've created to showcase a picture taken on Ryan on his first day back to school.

I've used tons of cool Core'dinations cardstocks with the "Sand It Gadget" to create the above layout. To decorate it, I've also used some beautiful textured blooms by Petaloo.

The gorgeous neutral tones on the cardstocks are perfect to frame this photograph.

 These are my two boys...my "cute as a button" son and my hubby.

The sentiment on that Calypso Chipboard Die Cut is a very accurate motto for our family. "Be silly. Be honest. Be kind." As long as those rules are strictly adhered to, I will pretend that the winks and smiles work.

I'm really happy with this 8" layout using Calypso papers, and Petaloo's Textured Ivory Elements. It's vibrant and full of fun and a bit rough around the edges... just like us :) And it's not too feminine to send to the Sr. troublemaker (Grampa, aka Nono) for Father's Day.

What Dad wouldn't want a Layout to Celebrate Father's Day??!?!?

As I am still on my quest of creating "Manly Layouts" 
I chose to use the Quick Quotes Serendipity to create
a layout of my ever changing Grandson....Izaya

Now I have to say....
