Where has the month gone?!!  It flew by but we are getting closer and closer to Spring & warmer weather ... hooray!

 

Speaking of Spring ... today we are going to show you how well our new spring flowers match with a new spring paper from DOODLEBUG called HELLO SUNSHINE!

 

This sweet paper just makes you want to smile!!  Plus, it inspires you to make something happy!!  You are going to LOVE what  Beth Bergner created for the CHA show with this paper and our new spring flowers ...

We absolutely adore this page ... it makes us so happy!  The two flowers (above) come from the Botanica Collection.   The little red sweeties are called Botanica Minis and the peach flower is a Mixed Bloom.  Doesn't it look like a sun too?

 

 

Here is another cute page with our favorite little guys Forget Me Nots in purple!  They are so fun to play with ... :)

Authentique Papers ... match our Spring 2015 flowers!!

 

In our post today, we want to show you how perfectly Authentique's Spring 2015 paper lines coordinate with our new spring 2015 flowers ...  

 

One of our favorite new collections for Spring from Authentique is this Classique BEAUTY Collection.  These papers have the most wonderful combinations of soft yellow, grey and black. Now that is a "classic" combination...

 

 

 

In the card below (by Beth Bergner) look at how beautifully our new Botanica Collection of Mum's & Butterflies, Berries, and our Vintage Velvet Collection of Lilacs ...look with this paper!  

 

 

 

It's stunning, right?!  The material for these Mums is so soft and pretty!  Plus, it is paintable too!  We like to tell people that it looks like paper and feels like paper ... but it's really a fabric!

 

Botanica Mums & Butterflies come in 6 soft colors for spring: teal, yellow, pink, lavendar, white, and peach.

 

 

Here are the Vintage Velvet Lilac Picks in 3 NEW colors for Spring 2015.  They come in a total of 6 Vintage Spring colors...lavendar, pink, ivory, (shown above) white (shown on card) and teal & others.

 

This sweet collection of paper from Authentique is so cute for Spring and Easter!  It is called TREASURE and it features lots of bunnies, spring flowers and sweet patterns for spring!  

 

Speaking of flowers ... we have so  many flowers to coordinate with this paper it's amazing!

 

 

This Mini Album (by Beth Bergner) shows how versatile this paper can be ... it looks adorable with our new Burlap Collection of Canvas flowers in green, our Burlap butterflies, and our Botanica Collection of Mini flowers (those little guys in lavendar and purple)!!

 

Plus ...the little trims tied on this Mini Album is also from Petaloo...it is called Crocheted Lace and it comes in 12 soft Spring colors too!!

 

 

We LOVE these new Canvas flowers with pearl centers from the Burlap Collection!  They are so soft but still earthy with the canvas materials...yum!

 

 

Do you want to create your own flowers?  We have Canvas and Burlap Flower Layers that  come in all the soft spring colors.  Layer them anyway you like and add a button or brad to the center!  It's cuteness times ten! :)

 

 

If you are looking for a St Patricks day paper ...then this one from Authentique called LUCKY is it ... what a fun mix of green & white patterns along with shamrocks, of course!!

 

  

These Botanica Blooms in green and white are a perfect match to this paper... and that's no blarney! :)

 

  

But if you would rather mix a little texture with this paper, our Burlap Collection of Blooms x 4 or Blossoms & Butterflies x 11 in chartreuse would work well too!

Hello again from your friends at Petaloo!

 

Today we are going to show you how the NEW Spring 2015 Petaloo flowers match the newest spring papers shown at CHA!!  

 

Let's start with our friends at ... Graphic 45!! 

 

 

"Time to Flourish" is one of our favorite papers from Graphic 45.  We especially love its rich colors and versatility!  Plus, there is a beautiful paper that is perfectly suited for each month! And we are excited to say that we have a flower to match with every paper...yeah!  

Here are a few examples ... 

 

 

This wonderful tag by Beth Bergner (above) is made with Time to Flourish paper for APRIL. Look how well our Darjeeling Collection of flowers coordinate with this paper!

 

 

This wonderful wedding card (made by Beth Bergner) comes from Graphic 45's Time to Flourish paper for June.  It's another perfect match with our Darjeeling Collection of flowers!  Plus, the Ivory Crocheted trim along the bottom is also from Petaloo :)

 

 

This St Patricks Day tag (made by Beth Bergner) is another perfect example of how Petaloo has a flower to match every Time to Flourish paper in the pack!  This March paper is paired with our new Vintage Velvet Pansies in purple.  What a match made in heaven!!

 

 

Precious Memories from Graphic 45 is another brand new paper for spring 2015.  The colors are so soft & sweet and pretty.  Plus, we love how there are papers for litttle boys AND little girls!! 

But take a look at the amazing flowers we have to match this paper ...

 

 

This cute BABY GIRL TAG (from Beth Bergner) features the "Precious Memories" paper along with our NEW VINTAGE Velvet Hydrangea Pick in peach.  The peach trim and the Velvet Blossom in the top right are also rom Petaloo & NEW for Spring!!

This tag (by Beth Bergner) is just perfect for tying onto a bag of home made cookies or a fresh pie, right?!  We could not resist pairing our NEW Burlap Collection of Mini Blossoms in natural along with our Textured Mini's in red!!  If you are wondering where the pretty trim in red came from ...it's from Petaloo and we call it ... Crocheted Trim.

 

 

The "Home Sweet Home" paper from Graphic 45 is also perfect for Mini Albums and recipe books!  In our Petaloo recipe book, we paired the Burlap Collection of Mini Blossoms in pistachio, ivory and natural along with a few Canvas Blooms.

 

 

Lastly, if you follow along with the Petaloo Blog ... you have seen this canvas in our previous post.  We adore this canvas (from Lynne Forsythe)  so much ... we could not resist showing it again!  It features the "Home Sweet Home" paper from Graphic 45 along with loads of Petaloo NEW Spring flowers!  

What's on the canvas?  Lots of pretty flowers from the Burlap Collection: sunflowers, blossoms & butterflies, and pointsettias in blue.

SNEEK PEEK ~ Burlap Collection

Spring 2015

 

This fun & versatile collection of burlap flowers, picks, and berries will soon become one of your favorites!  Why??

 

This is the perfect material for all different types of artists!  It is "paintable" for the altered artists, but pretty enough to be used alone by the cardmakers & layout artists!

 

We hope you like our burlap as much as we do ...

 

 

These BURLAP Flower Layers show all the amazing color variations of the Burlap Collection.  It comes in the softer spring colors of pink, apricot, pistachio, yellow and lavendar!  (shown below)

 

Plus, these layers are so versatile!  You can build your own flowers with them, you can use them as a backround for a larger flower or they can be used for a million other uses... 

  

 

 Our Burlap flowers also come in bolder colors of denim blue (shown below) teal, red and natural brown too!  

 

 

 This wonderful card from Lynne Forsythe feautres a BURLAP Pointsettia flower in denim blue!  It is layered with BURLAP Flower Layers in pistachio green and accented with Mini Burlap flowers in ivory.  So sweet and pretty, right?!

 

 

 Another material that coordinates so well with BURLAP is ... CANVAS!  Although it can have a utilitarian feel ... flowers created out of canvas can be soft and pretty!  Especially when paired with pearls ... 

 

We are pairing the Canvas Flowers (above) with Burlap Butterflies in a package together!  What a fantastic combination!

Hottest Trends from CHA ~ BURLAP for Fall

 

Want to know what is the HOT new trend for Fall? 

In one word ... BURLAP!! 

 

After two weeks of trade shows and Gift Marts plus the CHA Crafting show this week...we realized there was a obvious trend in all the showrooms ... the designers and manufacturers were using the earth-friendly, natural material ... BURLAP!

  

Burlap was in everything ...table covers, pillows, curtains, Christmas decorations and more!  If you are a crafter and want to find BURLAP for your next project ...  Petaloo has it!  We have BURLAP flowers, BURLAP trims and BURLAP laces!  Here is a "peek" of what's coming out in early September ... 

 

One of my favorite new Burlap flowers for Fall are these Wild Burlap flowers...pretty right?!

BURLAP Flowers & Trims ~ Spring 2014 ~ Sneek Peek

 

We are super excited to show you our third Sneek Peek for Spring!  It's our BURLAP Collection ... it's full of "simple elegance" & vintage goodness! 

 

Lots of soft, pretty colors, right?!  We have 8 NEW colors of burlap for spring as well as the natural colored burlap!!!  Plus, our burlap is soft, bendable, paintable and made from all natural fibers!!

 

Another nice feature of our burlap...it coordinates with so many beautiful papers in the papercrafting market today!   Our first card features Graphic 45's Couture paper collection.

Botanica Collection ~ Sneek Peek Spring 2014

Here is our second new collection for Spring... it's our Botanica Collection!

 

We introduced a holiday version of the Botanica Collection last fall and it was a huge hit!!  So... here is the NEW Spring version!  Lots of beautiful soft colors on big cabbage blooms down to little mini blooms...this is such a sweet little collection! 

 

Plus, it coordinates with so many beautiful papers!  One of our favorite papers to coordinate with these flowers is Graphic 45's SWEET SENTIMENTS paper.

 

Here is a Valentines Day card featuring the Botanica Blooms in coral, the Botanica Berries in Peach, and the Botanica Mini's in peach.  (card designed by Beth Bergner) and the paper is Sweet Sentiments by Graphic 45...
