Hey there Petaloo Peeps! So very excited to share the projects I created for the Petaloo ~ Maja Design product spotlight.

I decided to create favors since every party is more funner when you get to take a treat home. These pockets have tags but there's still plenty of room to tuck in a little gifty.

These pockets are created with the gorgeous patterned papers from Maja Design.

I'm using the same basic layout for all of the pockets and layering them on burlap for a consistent look. The natural fiber adds a nice texture as well.

A tiny crocheted doily is a great shabby chic accent and creates a nice base to layer on the beautiful flowers.

I've lined the pockets with a coordinating patterned paper so it will look just as nice without the tags and treats.

Tags are a great place to add a picture or some journaling on the back. Or maybe even affix a gift card?

Stitching around the pockets is a nice subtle detail and adds structural stability to the pocket so you can fill it up without worrying about it coming apart.

I've tucked in some pearly picks coordinating ribbon to enhance the flowers.

Vintage buttons are added to the top of the pockets.

Adding a matching bow and flower to the top of the tag helps to bring the balance to the top of the pocket.

All of the paper layers have been distressed and inked.

I've tucked in a generous band of die cut paper border to add detail to the pocket.

A layer of 110 lb cardstock is added to the back to give a little more sturdiness to the pocket.

Fussy cut images and clocks are adhered to the tags along with a bit of twine strung through.
