Oh my goodness Peeps! what a fun adventure we going on with Petaloo, Graphic 45, and Xyron. I created a Christmas card and a festive holiday home décor piece.
Not only are we designing with the patterned papers and flowers but also with the super great adhesives.
I thought the Sticker Maker made it really handy to apply the adhesive to the Graphic 45 papers once I had them cut to size they fit perfectly through.
I used the patterned papers to cover a ribbon spool and chipboard house then used the gorgeous flowers and embellishments to accent.
Tinsel Trim, rhinestones with drop pearls a large jingle bell and tiny brush wreath are added and are detailed with "snow" to blend these elements into a frosty vignette.
This rooftop was a real labor of love! Approximately elebenty hundred buttons are attached to the roof then given a generous coating of the "snow" and topped of with fine clear glitter. It's a bit magical I think and even almost looks like frosting on a gingerbread house.
As this in meant to be a home décor item I paid special attention to finish it all the way around.
A few star picks and ribbon complete this holiday treasure and even got a little coating of the snow so they would coordinate.
What can I say??? Graphic 45 St. Nicholas Collection and cards are a match made in heaven. And I am all over this plaid!!!!!
I cut the large 12 x 12 inch paper border and mitered the corners to make it fit onto a 6 x 6 inch card then layered in a few additional patterns to fill in the background.
This selection of holiday flowers has me swooning. I added the pick along with twine, chipboard and a metal embellishment for this arrangement.
Incorporating altered chipboard snowflakes topped with large pearly accents really helps to add detail.
This is a very dimensional card and would make a great addition to holiday décor displayed on mantle or shelf with some ever greens and pinecones.
