My vacation may not be until July, but its what I thought about when I saw the Simple Stories Sunshine and Happiness Collection. Since it made me dream of my Costa Rican vacation coming up, I decide to make a little countdown calendar. It starts 4 weeks before and then counts down by each day on the last week. I created it with just some chipboard, Simple Stories Paper, Petaloo flowers and my paper binder. 

I made a simple "tent" shape with two 8x8 covered pieces, then made a small inner flap to hold it open at the angle I wanted. 

I think I have found a new tradition of making vacation countdown calendars !! I was thinking I could even add some pic to the pages from the trip, super fun idea!
