Time to Celebrate....

Tis the season to celebrate
Mom, Dad and the Grads!

This weathered 12 x 12 wood box
IS JUST THE PERFECT
backdrop for my creation!

I began by cutting a piece of
QuickBooks Scrapbooking Co ~ Joy Ride 400
to fit the inside of the box.

Using various The Crafter's Workshop Stencils
and a bit of Perfect Paints mediums
I created layers of color and texture.

When dry, I adhered the pieces to the box with
Multi Medium. I then cut a piece of mesh to fit
and stapled it in place.

I cut a heart from a piece of
QuickQuotes ~ Gypsy Road 700 paper.
Then used a quote stamp by Impression Obsession
which I cut up and adhered to the heart.

I pulled out some Petaloo blooms from the
Botanica Collection
Yellow
Peach
Coral
and Sugared Mocha
to create the flower clusters,
something simple but elegant!

What a wonderful gift
to celebrate someone you love!!

Wow what a beautiful shabby chic rustic creation....the Petaloo flowers give it such a romantic shabby feel with the wood and textures of rustic....FABULOUS my friend...Love the quote!
