Hello everyone! Tammy Tutterow here with you today with a really quick and easy card featuring Petaloo! This card is perfect for a warm spring greeting to a friend. It is so quick and easy to make too!
Begin with a 6" x 12" strip of pattern paper. I used a piece from BasicGrey's Fresh Cut collection. I folded the piece in half to create a 6" square card. I used an ink blending tool to apply Vintage Photo Distress Ink to the edges.
I added journal card from the Fresh Cut Waterfall Embellishment Pack to the lower right card front. I adhered a strip of Taupe Petaloo Fancy Trims across the front of the card over the top of the journaling card. I added simple machine stitching around the sides of the card. I added a small die cut bird from the embellishment pack to the top of the ribbon.
Next to the journaling card I added a cluster of Darjeeling Petite Flowers in Red and Blue to match the flowers on the paper. I also added white Forget Me Nots. I added the smallest Berries from the Pink Spring Berry Clusters in pairs tucked into the cluster of flowers and leaves. The berries add a fun bit of shine that helps make the cluster of flowers a real focus.
I finsihed the cluster off by tucking a few die cut elements under the leaves to tie in more of the colors from the paper. I also added a ribbon flag.
Such a quick and lovely card that is full of spring time color!
