SO let's get started with our "LOVELY" Petaloo DT member...Eva Dobilas!

Hi there, this is Eva here today sharing a Valentine's Day themed canvas created with Simple Stories Homespun Collection and Petaloo's flowers. Here is my 8x10 canvas.
I chose my patterned papers first and adhered it to the canvas using Gesso. Than I added the pretty black label and outlined it with Petaloo's Crochet Lace in red.
Than I started adding my pretty Botanica and Texured flowers along with leaves, as they just popped so nice even with the flower patterned paper background.
And I added the pretty banner from the Cardstock Sticker sheet. It was perfect and I topped it with little Pennylane flowers.
As a final touch I added some more gesso and especially to the black label to create a chalkboard look. I also added some black and brown Pan Pastel to add more contrast to my canvas and gesso to my flowers and leaves.
Hope you like this canvas project and might inspire you to create something like this.

This definitely would make a gorgeous gift for any occasion, including a wedding. One could adjust the sentiment based on the occasion, if needed. Love this canvas so much!!

Your canvas is GORGEOUS Eve, so light and cheery, the colours, floral papers, Crochet Lace and fabulous flowers look stunning against the sweet sentiment on the black background - LOVE IT ALL!!!
... I've had a couple of canvases quietly waiting for the right time, so now I think it's time for me to brush off the dust and get creating - THANK YOU for the inspiration :)
