Welcome to DAY 3 of our Blog Hop with Authentique!
We hope you enjoy these beautiful Christmas projects and tutorials from Petaloo DT member Tammy Tutterow...

Hello! Tammy here with you today with two quick holiday themed projects to help you get your holiday crafting jump started!
Last year after Christmas I picked up several wooden hanging signs on clearance from a local craft store. For only $1 a piece they were quite a crafty steal!
I removed the hardware from the sign, cut a piece of pattern paper (Authentique Joyous) to fit. I ran my paper through my Xyron so that it would have a great all over bond. After adhering the paper, I sanded the edges and brushed them with ink.
I tore a second piece of pattern paper to fit the sign. I wrinkled, tore, and curled the edges before inking to add extra dimension. After adhering the paper to the sign, I wrapped the sign with Petaloo Glitz Trim and replaced the metal hanging wire.
I created a pocket from a file folder by sewing the edges shut. I slipped a tabbed index card inside.
I embellished the pocket with more elements from the Joyous Papercrafting Kit. I brushed three Medium Red Poinsettias with a bit of Vintage Photo Distress Ink for extra shading. I ahdered them to the pocket over the trim. I finished it off with a snippit of green Fancy Trims.
Petaloo Supplies:

Petaloo Fancy Trim Assorted Glitz- All Red
Petaloo Fancy Trim- Shades of Green

I also created a quick tag that could be used as a holiday card or package decoration. To create the tag, I covered a #8 manila tag with pattern paper from the Joyous Papercrafting kit. I cut the long banner die cut in half so that I could stretch it out and make it appear longer behind the die cut sentiment. I layered the banner and other die cut elements on the from of the tag adding ink and curled edges.
I added a strip of green Fancy trim over the banner. I finished the tag with a cluster of green flowers from the Textured Blossoms collection along with two velvet leaves from the Chantilly Collection. The green of the flowers and leaves along with the ribbon were the perfect match for the green in this paper collection! I love the way they compliment each other!

I hope these projects give you a little inspiration for your holiday crafting!

They are BOTH DELIGHTFUL Tammy!!!
... of course, if I went to make them, there would be NO "quick and easy" about it but then again, you do make it look and sound like even I could do it - thank you for the inspiration and tutorials, it is always great to read the detail behind the project :)
