Hi there, it's Eva here today sharing some Halloween fun using the pretty Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells collection, Xyron products and of course our own beautiful Petaloo flowers. Even though I didn't grow up with celebrating Halloween, being that I am not originally from here, I still love playing with Halloween goodies, as they are so fun! So today I have an 8x10 canvas for the occasion.
Using gesso I glued my paper onto the canvas, than I cut out the large label with the design I wanted to focus on. I liked it that it had a sentiment on it already, so that was my reasoning for using this, other than it was perfect for my witch. I wanted a frame around my picture, so I used Spellbinders die which is very decorative, and like the way it turned out.
As you can see I used Petaloo's chipboards, the Spiders and Webs and also the Witch and Cats. I added glue to them and covered them with Ranger's black glitter and added them to the canvas. I thought my witch was perfect in the sky full of balloons.
Than I had to create a banner using the Steampunk Spells Banners. Love how you can layer them and topped them with our Petaloo Darjeeling Petites Black/Cream.
As a final addition I added some more pretty Petaloo flowers on the bottom part of my picture and pulled in the teal color of the picture by balancing it with neutral colors.
Here are the Petaloo items I used on this canvas art.
Color Me Crazy Chipboard - Witch and Cats
Color Me Crazy Chipboard - Spiders and Webs
Darjeeling Petites - Black/Cream
The colours in this collection are just amazing.
