Welcome to another great blog hop. We have so much fun planned for you and with the help from our friends at Graphic 45 and Xyron, it's sure going to be fun! Let's start off with Denise Hahn and her adorable project.
Little known fact, my love of crafting started at a Banner class I took many moons ago. I have always loved making banners and changing them out for every holiday! Creating this Boo banner was super fun and easy- I even used a recycled cereal box for the chipboard!
Tip: On worded banners always make sure you have a big contrast between the background and the letters. Here I have used Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells on the letters and Mechanical Marvels on the background. I attached the cardstock using the Creative Station 5 Inch with Permanent Adhesive
Here you can see the full pennant- I used the larger Petaloo Dahlia in Teal as the focal flower and then added Grey/Black Mini Daisies and Paprika Wild Mini Blossoms to bring more color and fullness. I used Xyrons new Adhesive Glue Dots to secure my flowers
Also as an added accent I used Petaloos Chipboard gears colored with Clearsnaps new Dye Ink Sprays Seattle Sky and Mudslide
Each base is a little different- mix it up! To distress the tulle ribbon I used my heat gun-practice first or you will end up with a tiny black ball! I also used a dab of glue and some Clearnsap Glitter in Twinkling Turquois around the edge of the letters for just enough sparkle
Here at the top I used Petaloo Fancy Trims Paprika and Petaloo Embellishment Brads- Shades of White- I used Xyron High Tack Tape to attach the lace trim. I love how Graphic 45's Steampunk Spells papers have the amazing pop of Teal! Who would have thought?

I've been a bit intimidated about making a banner. However, going through your instructions has given me the confidence to try making one. Thanks so very much.
