Hi there, it's almost 4th of July, just around the corner, so today I have a card to celebrate just that in style showcasing Graphic 45 Place in Time line their French Country line, Petaloo's Darjeeling flowers and Pennylane flowers.
For my card base I used one of the cutouts from the French Country Line's A La Cart paper and layered a chicken wire die cut on top of it. I also die cut a star using blue card stock and embossed to pop it. And you see that metal label? That's actually Petaloo as well called Label Plates. The sentiment and all dies are by My Favorite Things, in case you were wondering.
Once I got my card built, it was time to add all the pretty Darjeeling flowers, and in this case I added Darjeeling Mini Mix Teastain in reds and blues and a pretty Pennylane flower in Antique Green.
As a final touch I added some white Gesso to my flowers and parts of the card as well. I had a thicker twine, so I added a bow tied with that, it just added a 4th of July feel to it.
Petaloo products used on this card:
Thanks for visiting and hope you enjoy this little card.
I love this card! Love the star in the background, and the flowers just make it special! Thanks for sharing.
