Summer is in full swing and it is hot!! My daughter found an old headband in the bathroom and asked me if she could have it. I told her that she could, but on one condition....that she let me Color it Crazy with some flowers and ribbon. *big grin*
Ask me what the best thing is about Color Me Crazy flowers. Go ahead, ask me. Okay, okay....I'll tell you. :) You can create a gazillion different kinds of flowers and you have creative freedom with colors. My DD wanted something girlie and pink. Voila!
I bundled layers of Floradoodle CMC flowers and then misted them with magical mica in Alpine Rose. They take the color so nicely and they are just gorgeous. After that, I embellished with a few pearls for centers and that's it! The flowers do the rest!
After wrapping the headband in white ribbon and then embellishing with pearls and lace, the last items I added were the Petaloo feathers in pink and fushia. Ooh la la!
This was such a quick and easy project. My daughter even helped with putting the flowers together and then constructing the headband. This is a great project for the kids! Huzzah! Off to the Rennaissance Faire!
Thanks for stopping by!!
Hugs,
Lisa
