Our first three days of "ribbons and flowers" week has been so fun! We have seen how to mix these two mediums in cards and layouts from DT members Tanisha, Lynn, and Lisa.
Today we are featuring a "European" style of scrapping with flowers and ribbons from Petaloo DT member, Zarah Peterson of Sweden. Enjoy & njut ...

I happen to work for the most fantabulous company ever. Petaloo.
I'm so proud and happy to have been part of this journey with the DT since the very beginning, because it's a wonderful team to be part of (just look at the blog. Stunning work, right?!) and the company itself is one of the few that truly has a HUGE heart. Petaloo GIVES!
Now, this month, they have teamed up with another giving company: May Arts, and the result is too fun and inspiring for words! I got this wonderful kit of flowers and ribbons in my mail box and I just could not WAIT to dig into it!
Here's the result:
I've used these beauties from Petaloo:
Canterbury Roses/Lemon 1823-314
CMC Mixed Floral Assortment/White 1573-000
Glitter Critters/White+Light Blue 1288-003
These 6 different May Arts ribbons in FANTASTIC quality and wonderful variety & colours:
Beige/green twill stripe (it's actually not regular twill, it's striped, silky and WONDERFUL!)#385-58-46
Aqua satin pleats-#379-15-04
Aqua silky crush-#UK04
Beige net ribbon-#WQ09
White sheer/ruffle edge organza-#350-15-01
Beige crochet lace-#361-58-10
Hope I could inspire you as much as the kit inspired me, with yet another of my Mexico-themed layouts.
Have a wonderful day!
xoxo,
Zarah

Such a beautiful layout, Zarah, as usual. I love how you used the May Arts ribbon to represent water. The variety of textures in your design is what makes this page special. I continue to be inspired by your creativity.

This is amazing! Such incredible layering, texture, and color! A true work of art. I love how you have little bits of ribbon appearing here and there. And I love the blue butterfly and dragonfly. It is amazing how you put together the beautiful flowers and distressed paper, staples and corrugated cardboard. Everyone works so well together. Thank you so much for sharing.
