Hi there, it's Eva here today and I am so excited to share two projects with you. My first one is a little decoration. I simply adore happy colors, in fact almost everything I make has to have happy colors, it's just what inspires me, so when I got my box full of happy colors products from Little Yellow Bicycle, I was in heaven!
The Hello Spring line is AMAZING, the least to say. Colors, patterns, shapes, 3 D stickers, fabric elements, you name it, you can find them all in this one collection. And what' the best part is that it matches Petaloo's Flora Doodles line, so I was totally inspired!
For my base I used the 6x6 Decorative Edge Double-Sided Textured Cardstock, as I just loved the shape of it and the color as well. I also used the frame from the Clear Cut Shapes with glitter. I used the little cardstock tree, which was begging for Petaloo's Jeweled Florettes and by my tree trunk I used Embossed Mulb. Paper Daisies as grass. I have to give credit, where credit is due, so I have to tell you that these ideas came from my friend Alice Carman, as we scrapped together for NSD and she was just flowing with ideas...LOL..so thanks Alice!
Here is what my little wall decoration ended up looking like after adding the super fun birdie from the Fabric Favorites self adhesive 3D stickers. I just thought the birdie was a perfect addition.
I also want to mention in case you would like to know that I also used My Favorite Things Dienamics on this card, the chevron die and the label behind the frame are both by them, which I cut out from the pretty Little Yellow Bicycle papers. Here is a close up of my little decoration.
My second one is a Mother's Day card, since we are celebrating that this weekend. For this project I decided to use the 6x6 paper pad from the Little Yellow Bicyle Hello Spring line and once again I embellished it with the Fabric Favorites 3D elements and stickers. I also added some Flora Doodles Mini Mulb. Paper Delphium Brites, as it just matched the whole collection so perfect!
For my sentiment I used a JustRite Papercrafts stamp set. Here is a closeup of my card in more detail.
Hope you enjoy these projects and wishing you an early Happy Mother's Day.
