Mother's Day is this weekend so I thought I make a couple cards that will inspire you to create a few of your own.

On this card I die cut some honeycomb shapes to match my Petaloo flowers.  Then I folded the flowers over the die cut and addes some Little Yellow Bicycle sticker leaves and rhinesones for texture.  Super cute and easy to put together!

This card was created using Little Yellow Bicycle Hello Spring collection and Petaloo's Mulberry Paper Flowers.

New Mini Delphiniums Mulberry Street Pastels

 

I die cutted a few shapes using LYB Hello Spring collection papers and added the Birdy Dazzlers.  Simple and clean, perfect for a quick card and just in time for Mother's Day!

Aren't these little birdies adorable? They work so well with LYB Hello Spring collection. Almost like they were meant for each other.

How do you layer flowers?

Today's post is all about flowers.  It's the perfect embelishment for Spring!  I love all the fun and bright colors of this season. Petaloo's Flora Doodles have the right shape, size and colors.  

I couldn't decide what flower I like best so I used a few to create today's card.  Don't you just love these flowers?

I started layering my largest Flora Doodles flower and used the smaller Flora Doodles flowers to fill in the empty spaces on my card.  I also tucked in die cutted leaves where needed.  This is a great way to build clusters and to add more texture to your card.

Want another techinque to use on your card?  Using the Mulberry Paper Flowers I like to fold them over and layer them on another.  I like this look because it reminds me of a Cone Flower Daisy(my favorite).  

The only difference between a real flower and my card is my flower has a cute frog on it.  You can get these adorable frogs from the Dazzlers Water Animals collection.

Flora Doodles

I love how beautiful the weather is after a major rainstorm.  Everything is so bright!  The flowers are in bloom with color and it has inspired me to create.  

Today I am using Petaloo's Flora Doodles.

Aren't these the perfect size flowers to use on cards?  I just love the size & volume of flowers you get in one package.  (both styles are $3.99 retail)  These flowers come in lots of colors so don't forget to add these to your craft supply list or ask your local store to carry them.

More Spring Darjeeling

It's another darling card made with Petaloo's NEW Spring Darjeeling collection. 

Petaloo's Srping Darjeeling have been very popular this year.  I love that the line comes in many colors especially the natural kraft color flowers and leaves.

I also used Petaloo's  Beaded Hat Pins in beige.  The whole collection matches to a tee.  Don't you just love it?

I tied everyting together using Graphic 45's Little Darling collection and May Arts ribbons.

Spring Darjeeling...ooh la la!

It's definately Spring and with it comes Spring colors. 

Today we are going to mix it up with Graphic 45's Little Darlings collection, May Arts ribbons and Petaloo's NEW Spring Darjeeling collection in Pistachio color.

The Mini Daisies and Mini Pearl Daisies are NEW in the Spring Darjeeling collection and come in a variety of tones and colors.  You will love what Petaloo has created for Spring!

I just love how perfect these little minis are.  Perfect for cardmaking and anything else you want to make.  I can just see these flowers on a layout as well.  You can use small to large size flowers to your work of art.

Petaloo's NEW Spring Darjeeling

Petaloo's NEW Spring Darjeeling in Pistachio color, Graphic 45's "Little Darlings" collection and May Arts ribbons, oh my!  What an awesome trio!  I love that I get to work with such awesome companies and LOVE that Petaloo makes such beautiful realistic flowers.

I also love to cluster Petaloo's flowers!  It's so easy when the flowers comes in different sizes and colors to choose from. 

Did you see the butterflies and the mini pins?  Look how cute these are?  I love it all and you will too.  The butterflies and pins are NEW to the Spring Darjeeling collection.

You can use it in clusters like I did here or use it in any of your craft making.  The pins and butterflies come in the same color tones as the flowers so it's super easy to match them up.

What's going on at the CHA Show?

Geez ... it 's been such a busy show we have not had a chance to post any pictures until now!

The booth is finally finished and ready to go...lots of white carpet, black frames filled wth new spring Petaloo flowers and tables ready for students to learn the painting and stamping techniques with our new "Color Me Crazy" chipboard and flowers!  

(We are gonna need lots of Resolve carpet cleaner for this bright, white carpet!!)

It's hard to choose which color card to make with Alice...

You will want to stop a few minutes to learn a technique or two from Eva Dobilas. who is teaching customers how to stamp and color our new "Color Me Crazy" chipboard and flowers!!

Jill Walker educates customers on how to paint the "Color Me Crazy" flowers with Luminarte! 

One of our devoted sales reps, Howard Block...  not only is he a fantastic rep, he can reccomend the BEST restuarant in town!!

Time to relax a few minutes with some of our Canadian friends, the purchasing team from "Scrapbook Eh!" in Canada!!

 

Our feet are so tired but we are having so much fun!  Thanks to everyone for allowing us to take these cute pictures!
