So excited to be playing with Graphic 45 papers again! They pair up so beautifully with Petaloo flowers, so much in fact I went a little overboard! This is a simple wood birdhouse I purchased from the craft store. I like to paint all the edges first with acrylic paint. I painted the roof green to look more leafy green and to help hide the tiny green light cords.
After I painted it, I cut two 4.25x12 inch strips of Graphic 45 paper and glued them the the house. Then I just hot glued down the cords, starting from the back. (Make sure you let them stick out a little so you can see them past the flowers)
Here is the back before I covered it up with all those gorgeous Petaloo flowers! I also tacked down the cords a bit with some more hot glue. The battery pack is also glued on- make sure you leave the battery acces panel open.
I used some cut outs from Graphic 45's Twas the Night Before Christmas collection to decorate each panel
I embellished the front with some of Petaloos Fancy Trims in red, a Graphic 45 Die Cut and some super cute Petaloo Beaded Berry Picks.
I used a Mixture of Petaloo flowers to cover the roof top. Botanicals, Hydrangeas, and Mixed Blooms. Start with smaller flowers on the bottom, bigger flowers in the middles and smaller at the crown
It looks os cute all light up at night! This was a super easy project that looks like it was hard, I hope you will give it a try! -Denise
