The weather in New Hampshire is a changing. Even though I know what comes after Autumn....it still is my FAVORITE SEASON. I found a quote I just love...
Autumn is a second spring...
When every leaf is a flower.
~Albert Camus
It seems every year I decorate new pumpkins and
this year is no exception. Working with the
Authentique ~ Enchanted Collection was a pure joy.
The large pumpkin is made of paper mache.
I tore strips of paper, approximately 1.5-2" wide
and adhered them to the pumpkin
with Multi Medium.
Here is a hint for you.....spritz the paper with water
and crumple it up a bit. It will make it
SOOO much easier to mold the paper to the pumpkin.
When I was finished covering the pumpkin, I covered the
stem with jute and embellished it with
GORGEOUS fall colored FloraDoodles!!
I even gave it a spritz with some Shimmering Mist
for a little added extra bling.
And if you look closely you may see a few little guest
nestled in the flowers.
I finished it all off with loopy bows made from May Arts ribbons.
The little pumpkin was orginally colored and
has been kicking around my studio, since last year.
Using the same techniques I covered this one to match.
Here are my Fall Decorations for this year!!
Soooo simple yet......Sooo pretty!! Just love them!!
