"Back to School" BLOG HOP ideas from DT member Irene Tan...

It's my turn to share my project using some bright Core'dinations cardstocks, Sweet Stamp Shop stamps and of course beautiful Petaloo Mulberry flowers. I've created a simple and fresh teacher card for this assignment.

To create this card, I've used two cardstock (Mantis and Tulip) by Core'dinations. I've embossed the Tulip cardstock and sand it to create some textures.

The stamps set which I've used are School's Out and Made By.
List of Petaloo Products used:
Asst.Mini floral x 9 (Coredinations)- Tulip Yellow (1556-314)
Flower Layers x 12 (Coredinations) - Snowflake White (1553-300)
Camelia x 6 (Coredinations) - Mantis Green (1555-311)

The flowers are beautiful!! Another memory is being in the High School chorus and being asked to design the cover of the program for the Christmas concert. I also made huge silver bells for the sides of the stage.
2. Nicole Doiron :
What a beautiful card!!! Love the colors! School is soooo far away in time (i graduated high school 21 years ago!), but my favorite memories will always be all the time spent with my friends, especially my best friend Denise. We were inseparable from 4th grade until senior year. We always had loads of fun and laughs together! And we're still very good friends today :)

Oh, my gosh, these are so pretty! I expecially love the box for the loooooooove notes, LOL! That is definitely one of my favorite school memories. The notes! The teachers didn't like them, and we loved to sneak them around. Fun, fun!

One of my fav. memories was getting a project back from my extremely hard and strict grade 8 teacher and reading her very positive comments. Her words have remained with me to this day! amazing how a teacher can touch a life! Thanks for all the inspiration- great and cheerful project!
Great projects today and the Classroom sign is adorable. My fav school memory - being the official scorekeeper for the boys baseball team and riding the bus to & from games. Had to bring another girl with me and we had to ride in front seat and we weren't allowed to turn around and look at the back of the bus until after we stopped for ice cream. Turns out half the guys were changing clothes after the game as soon as we boarded the bus. This was in the early 70's...
Thank you to everyone who participated! We have more "Back to School" projects coming on the blog for the next few days. We hope you will join us!
I do not know if it's just me or if perhaps everyone else experiencing problems with your blog. It looks like some of the text on your posts are running off the screen. Can someone else please comment and let me know if this is happening to them too? This might be a problem with my internet browser because I've
had this happen before. Many thanks

What fun! I had forgotten that my biology teacher was also the wrestling coach. He kept kidding me about joining the wrestling team. I knew it was a joke and we all got a kick out of it. BTW, I am only 5 feet tall and small...
