Petaloo flowers and Tim Holtz papers are such a perfect match!! Of course, when I think of Tim Holtz, I think of lots of paint. So, I created two pages with Tim Holtz papers, Petaloo flowers and lots of gesso, texture paste and different kinds of paint - mists and pan pastels.
For my first layout, I've used Tim Holtz Seasonal papers (these are actually Christmas papers, but works just fine for my page about my little nephew!), with Petaloo Spring Darjeeling flowers, color Seaside - I just love this blue shade! I added some yellow mulberry flowers too, just to make things a bit more exciting. The background was made using a Tim Holtz mask, gesso and texture paste. I have then used some light blue pan pastels on the texture paste. I've also misted the whole page with a light blue mist.

Then I switched colors completely and made a page using the Red Raspberry flowers from Petaloos Spring Darjeeling collection. The papers from Tim Holtz are also from the Seasonal paperpad, these are Valentine papers. I made my title out of one of the papers, I just cut out the letters and mounted them on 3D-pads.
The background on this page is also made with gesso and texture paste, then I misted everything with a cherry-colored mist.

I hope I've inspired you using Petaloo flowers with Tim Holtz papers and lots of paint and colors! Have fun creating!

Stunning layouts! I especially lobe the blue one. The texture paste, mask and the gorgeous peacock feather die cuts add so much to an already beautiful design. Thanks for sharing.
