Hi there, it's Eva here today sharing some Feminine Grungy cards. It's not a secret that I love Tim Holtz products, his stamps, his dies, his papers, trinkets, you name it, I love it! And I am so excited that even though the Spring Darjeeling flowers are very feminine and gorgeous, it works even with Tim's products.
On my first card I paired up Core'dinations Distress Collection papers, which I embossed with Sizzix Bubble Texture Fades embossing folder, than sanded off with the pretty Spring Darjeeling flowers. I also used the Sizzix Movers and Shapers Mini Ornamental die, which I black embossed my sentiment with using Tim's stamps and blended using his brand new Ranger Limited Edition Spring Distress inks. I also used Tim Holtz Ideology Paperie Paper Stash - Lost and Found papers and his Symphony Tissue tape. And the pretty doily is a Tim Holtz Sizzix On the Edge Die - Distressed Doily. To all this I added the prettiest flowers from the Spring Darjeeling collection. I used Seaside Frosted Roses, Red Raspberry Dahlias, Red Raspberry Mini Pearl Daisies and Red Raspberry Butterflies. I also added Beaded Hat Pins from the Fuschia collection.
Here is a closeup of my card to see all the pretty layers of flowers. My ribbon started out as a seam binding ribbon, which I saturated with Distress reinkers to match the colors from the Spring Limited Distress ink collection.
My Second card is full of grunginess as well. I used more Distress inks along with Tim Holtz's Stampers Anonymous Mixed Media stamps. Once again I used the Sizzix Movers and Shapers Mini Ornamental die along with the Sizzix Movers and Shapers Hope word die and strips of form the Tim Holtz Ideology Paperie Paper Stash - Lost and Found papers. I also added Ideology Metal Word Bands, which just completed my card. And of course to decorate my card I added some more pretty Spring Darjeeling flowers to it, which seemed to coordinate beautifully to my card.
You can find the following Spring Darjeeling products on this card: Red Raspberry Dahlias, Red Raspberry Butterflies, Beaded Hat Pins from the Fuschia, Seaside Mini Daisies and Seaside Mini Pearl Daisies .
Sure hope you enjoyed these cards and find that Petaloo's pretty products go with just about any paper lines, as I did.
