Welcome to my post for the Petaloo and Graphic 45 blog hop!! I know that you will love all of the beautiful projects that both teams have created for this week.
I've got two new fabulous products to tell you about, one from each company. Petaloo introduced their Darjeeling Collection this past summer and are the beautiful flowers you see on my layout. Their shabby, soft, and vintage feel are the perfect companion to the Graphic 45 paper. The Graphic 45 paper and embellishments are brand new and called Tropical Travelogue. I love the chipboard elements and the papers are printed in these wonderful muted tropical colors and patterns.
What I love about these Darjeeling flowers is that they are ready to use right out of the package. The are already distressed and have lovely pearls and metal embellishments in their centers. But that doesn't mean that if you love to alter that you can't dress them up a little more. They take inks, paint, and mist very well.
Here are a couple close up pictures of the flower bunches that adorn my layout. There are a couple of different packs of flowers that I combined to make them. Check out the supply list for more details.
Do you see those leaves? Their texture is so detailed that they almost feel real.
