As I was sitting with my daughter on New Year's Eve watching the festivities on t.v., I couldn't help but think about New Year's Day. That day to me is so full of hope, new beginnings, a clean slate. That is what this page represents to me. A New Day. *cue Nina Simone singing Feeling Good* Ahhhh, that's the good stuff. I wanted the overall feeling of my page to be retro-vintage beach; warm breezes, wildflowers swaying back and forth, worn and chipped paint, a sense of freedom. I think I pulled it off.
Just look at those gorgeous flowers. I love the carefree feeling I get when I look them. Bellissimo!
I hope that the New Year brings hope and excitment to you. Best wishes for a wonderful 2012!
