Happy Halloween!!!

Hey there flower lovers, it's Tanisha here and I've got a great Halloween project featuring Core'dinations cardstock, May Arts ribbons, and Petaloo flowers.

I created a Halloween card and a few treat boxes...after all, Halloween is all about the treats, right?!

I embossed the front panel of each item and used Core'dinations' sanding block to expose the core.  I added coordinating ribbons, flowers, and Spider dazzlers to complete the set.

Howdy folks........Lynne poppin' in with another creation using
Quick Quotes and Petaloo.

I have to say....when I opened my box of goodies I gasped at the beauty that lay inside...the vibrant beautiful colors of the
Julie Je T'aime papers
and the gorgeous
Canterbury Collection!!
I couldn't wait to put on my creative thinking cap and "have at" all the GOOOODNESS!!

Truth be know.....I'm not a big purple person but the papers and flowers were just so beautiful the card came about with great ease!! And the
Color Vellum Instant Journaling
quote was just PERFECT!!

I created the focal point of my "cluster" utilizing a
Canterbury Glitter Fleur

I then tucked in a couple of
Canterbury Forget~Me~Nots

and accented the "cluster" with a few pieces of
Canterbury Vine Spray

Finishing it off with some custom colored loopy bows and
Chantilly Velvet Leaves!!

 Hello everyone!!  Such exciting new projects this week from Petaloo and Quick Quotes.  I have a couple of things to show you and I will start off with a layout.  The warm rich colors of the paper from Quick Quotes was perfect for these pictures of my daughter.  The vellum quote is also from Quick Quotes.  It is full of color and blends seemlessly into the background.  Love that!

Would you believe I took these pictures about 10 years ago?  I can't believe my little girl is now 19.  Time flies by so fast.

Scrapbooking in block style makes it easy to use your flowers on your layouts.  Cut small pieces of patterned paper all one width, layer them in various heights and then fit your pictures on top of them.  After that all you have to do is make your flower arrangement and attach a beautiful bow with ribbon from May Arts.  Be sure to use different sizes of flowers and various colors for an eye catching bouquet. 

 I used the Canterbury Vine Spray in Cream along the left side to pull the eye upwards and then various flowers from the Canterbury line in Paprika and Vanilla and Mixed Blooms in Black to ground the eye on the bottom of the layout.  Then to lead the eye across to the pictures, I added a small bunch of the same flowers underneath the journaling block which was cut from a Spellbinders die.

My second project is a little gift bag and card.  I used the same papers as I did on the layout but focused more on the Paprika Canterbury Flowers.  A few yellow and brown Basic Grey gems and scalloped edges cut from a Tim Holtz edge die and you have a fancy gift duo that will thrill the recipient.

On the card I used another vellum Quick Quote.  Simple and sweet it stands out beautifully against the red of the background paper.  I just cut around the edge of it and attached it with a little tape runner.

The gift bag is created from the same paper and has the same decorative edges as the card.  I also used the gems again to tie the two parts of this project together.  The small gift bag is cut using my Silhouette and will hold a small gift.  It's tied close with a lace ribbon from May Arts.

 Hi everyone, Lisa here!  Petaloo partnered up with Quick Quotes and all I can say is O.M.Goodness!

The Julie Je t'aime paper line from Quick Quotes is stunning!  Your page will just put itself together.

I added one of Quick Quotes' instant quotes (phew, that was a lot to say LOL) and it gives my page that little something-something it was looking for. 

So get this...not only did I get this phenomenal paper to work with, but I also received some of my mooooooost favorite flowers; the Glittered Fleurs and Canterbury Naturals!!!  *somebody fan me* LOL  Aren't those colors yummy?!

 

I know!  Chistmas!!!  *runs screaming out of the room*  I can't help it.  I'm going to let you in on a secret....... blue, plum and sparkly are my 3 favorite Christmas colors!  When I took a look at the flowers and paper I knew that I needed to make a winter time page.

I took a few strips of paper that I had trimmed and created a braid with it. 

YUM!!!  Look at those little Canterbury Forget Me Nots just dripping down the page. Gorgeous!

I finished off my page by decorating this spray with sparkly snowflakes and more yummy flowers.

It's a perfect month to go purple and if you're a fan of purple than look no further.  Today I have a few cards using Petaloo and Quick Quotes and all things purple. 

I made this card using Petaloo's Canterbury Glitter Fleur Amethysts and Blues.  This set has the perfect blend of purples and can be used on alomst everything, especially with Halloween fast apporaching.  I also used the Quick Quotes Julie Je T'aime paper collection, which has a great blend of colors with a distressed look.  I finished the card using Quick Quotes velum called, "I have a reason".  The velum has a light printed design on it which helps creating tone and balance and the sentiments are perfect for card making.

I was so inspired by this line from Petaloo that I used it again on a secound card.  Petaloo really knows how to package their product because they give you plenty to start for an awesome price.  Also, the color combos are perfectly put together for what I'm working on.

Have you seen these Canterbury Vine Sprays by Petaloo? I just LOVE them!  Totally new and different from anything I have seen.  They come in different colors and styles so be sure to check them out.

Lately I have been making a lot of wallhangings. I love to create them and I love to give them away. 

The colors I got to work with were perfect for traditional christmas projects but I so felt like giving it a monochromatic twist I ended up with 2 wallhangings that will make great christmas gifts.

First is in blue and my son Noah. The story behind it is grandma always buys him the most beautiful shirts and .. very unlike his sister.. he LOVES clothes. He really makes a point of getting his picture taken in his "favorite shirt" of the moment. I thought it would also be a great way to say 'thank you" to grandma.

I cut the core'dinations cardstock in smaller pieces and embossed them. I distressed the edges and sanded the bottom layer. The top layer is also distressed but now I used distress ink to add a little extra. I really loved the blue and white May Arts ribbon.
It so resembled his shirt. Then I used the color me crazy flowers. I sooo love to play around with those. I stamped these with a small square pattern so it also resembles the shirt design. I tied buttons down as flower centers using May Arts Sheer blue ribbon
and white ribbon.

The second wall hanging is "Floor". Floor has been friends with Amber from the day she was born. Love to see these girls still together.

More Embossing with the coredination papers this time different patterns. I distressed the red paper and inked the white paper (with red distress inks)

I decided to leave the Color me Crazy's as they were because even without "extra's" they are simply gorgeous and they match the core'dinations paper just perfectly.  I used a white ribbon at the bottom of the photo with a subtile glitter.

Some Breezy and Warm Projects

Hi everyone! Today I would like to share two projects which I've created using some Core'dinations cardstocks, beautiful ribbons from May Arts and of course, tons of gorgeous blooms from Petaloo!

 

As most of you know, it does not snow in Malaysia. Therefore, instead of a "freezing" project for this coming holiday season, I've decided to create a "breezy" layout instead using the same color combo. This layout is created based on a photograph of my children taken at a pier.
