Greetings Petaloo fans! It's Tanisha here with a layout displaying one of my favorite ways to add flowers to my layouts. I start by simply picking out the flowers I want to use and lining them up across the page. Not only is this a great way to mix and match my favorite Petaloo products while maintaining space for other elements, but it also creates a visual line that directs the viewer's eye across the page.
I used 2 velvet berry picks in brown from the Chantilly collection to anchor the row of mixed blooms in cream and brown. I love these colors because they go really nicely with my skin tone and add a level of maturity to the layout.
I dabbed a little luminarte paint in the centers and on the leaves to tie in with the color that I added to the layout.
I removed the center from the velvet butterfly and replaced it with a butterfly punched from a transparency and a row of rhinestones.
Grab some of your favorite Petaloo products and give this technique a try! Thanks for stopping by the blog!

Very nice layout. I am going to try the paint trick. It looks awesome on your layout.

Love this layout and the way you used the flowers. I also love the sassy photos.
