Thank you to everyone who entered a Card in the "Color Me Crazy" contest! There were so many beautiful cards, it was difficult to choose... But once you see the amount of work that went into creating this card, you will understand why it was chosen for First Place!
Our First Place Winner was Vickie Duffill aka Nana Vic...
Vickie uses a mix of "Color Me Crazy" Jeweled Florettes to create this amazing Peacock card! ...
"The Petaloo flowers are a dream to work with as they are made out of recycled t-shirt material. They hold their shape well and can be dyed or inked with any medium so that you can coordinate your favourite colour combinations to match your project. The big blue flower is from the Tc Collection and all the little daisy style flowers from the Florettes, both are 'Color Me Crazy'. They are a clean bright white cotton when you get them. The little daisy ones have the diamontie already in the center and the large blue one has the silver charm in place."...Nana Vic
" The image above shows the original stetch at the back that I designed especially with the intention of turning the tail into a beautiful flow of tiny daisies. I coloured all the flowers using Perfect Pearls and found that I had to repeat the process as I wanted the flowers to be bright. The first coat soaked into the material and gave a soft tinted finish and the second coat was much more the look I was hoping to achieve. I did colour the digital with copics, even thou I knew that I was going to be covering the tail with flowers."...Nana Vic

Second place winner was Stephanie Severin aka Smilin Steph (love it!!) She created a beautiful card using the "Color Me Crazy" Gypsies LINK that she custom colored...

"I used distress inks and water to watercolor my Petaloo Blooms.
I started by getting them wet with a paint brush and then pressed them into the Spiced Marmalade ink pad. Next I used my paint brush and more water to soften and blend the inks and added touches of blues and greens for a sort-of tie-dye effect that I thought worked well with the blended background"...Stephanie Severin.
