There are "Color Me Crazy" critters too?!

Yes! Petaloo's "Color Me Crazy" embellishment line also has Peel N Stick Animals!  DT member Christine Ousley shows us how to use these animals in the most adorable cards! She has created her first card by spritzing our white CMC alligator two shades of green (what other color would an alligator be???)  She has also used a few CMC Jeweled Florettes as decoration too!

These "Color Me Crazy" critters come in a package of nine Peel N Stick 3-D animals waiting to be spritzed, sprayed, stamped, chalked or inked!  Cute, huh? (Plus, they are really absorbent because they are made from 100% recycled teeshirt material!)

This second card by Christine Ousley is as cute as the first!  Here she sprays a CMC Peel N Stick 3-D Dragonfly with a base color of teal and an accent color of chartreuse green to give it a tye-dyed look...

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here are the ALL WHITE "Color Me Crazy" bugs that come in a 15 pc mixed pack of  3-D ladybugs, bumblebees, dragonflies, and butterflies.  They are made of 100% recycled cotton teeshirt material too!

Speaking of divine...Petaloo DT member, Carole Janson has created a new "Color Me Crazy" layout that is absolutely beautiful...enjoy and happy Tuesday!!

I had so much fun altering the "Color Me Crazy Open Rose" which I used on my layout Happily Every After.

 
I decided to chalk the inside of the flower, so I used light pink, fawn and some light yellow, I used a cotton bud to apply the chalk to the centre of the flower, working my way outwards. 

 
I then applied some dimensional glaze over the chalk to give it a gloss finish, and to conceal the chalk, I created 2 of these Open Roses and cut one in half I then placed the flowers onto the layout with double sided tape.

I hope you enjoyed this simple idea but very effective and fun on any project.

Hello all, Christine here.  Today I would like to share my projects for the Petaloo and May Arts Blog Hop!  I love how this May Arts sheer turquoise ribbon works with the Canterbury Petaloo flowers.  When I got all of my supplies out I knew right away that I wanted to create something soft and feminine.  As I was looking at the round box that I covered I instantly thought about creating a gift box that resembled a flower pot.

Hi everybody! It's Helena here, making my first post as a Petaloo-designer! I am so happy that I got to start with this fabulous Blog Hop, using beautiful Petaloo flowers and combine them with gorgeous May Arts ribbon - they are such a perfect match.

For this layout about my cool daughter, I've used sweet flowers from Canterbury collection, in the colors brown and teal. I've also tucked in some mini delphiniums, cream, here and there. The plaid ruffle ribbon in light green and the white, sheer ribbon with a ruffled edge went perfect with the flowers and I just love how well they match!

Fun with flowers and Ribbon. That's what I thought while scrapping my photo's of Amber's first Fun Care for Kids day (FC4K).    

These pictures of Amber skipping rope made me so happy..not the best kind of pictures but I love the movement and the fun they stand for. They played circus that day so she practised tricks with skipping rope and juggling all day. Loved that the paper had a circuslike image. I used mayarts pleated ribbon and lace ribbon as a border below that image

I used the large flowers from the Mulberry Street range earthtones #1318-703 and used it as a base for my "fabric tag" - made with large mayarts ribbon.
Below the photo's -placed on large ribbon-I finished off with a border of Mini Canterbury  Asst in Paprika (orange) #1823-302 and Mulberry Street Wild Roses white #1308-000

 

My second layout is called "naughty or nice". I so loved the photo's. Amber isn't so easy to photograph these days.. she loves to make funny faces to the camera. This time it was no exception. Talked to her that I seriously needed some photo's and if she would please behave.. then while shooting I saw the naughtiness and I was waiting for her to start her act . Seeying that pic made me smile so much. I had to include it.   I used mayarts ruffled ribbon as a border around my large circle.. and the pleaded ribbon to place my title on. I used the lace between two layers of patterned paper. Beautiful Petaloo Canterbury Rose lemon #1822-314 to finish it.

Petaloo + May Arts Ribbons = True Love! - Day 4

Our first three days of "ribbons and flowers" week has been so fun!  We have seen how to mix these two mediums in cards and layouts from DT members Tanisha, Lynn, and Lisa.

I'm so proud and happy to have been part of this journey with the DT since the very beginning, because it's a wonderful team to be part of (just look at the blog. Stunning work, right?!) and the company itself is one of the few that truly has a HUGE heart. Petaloo GIVES!

Welcome back to our Blog Hop!!  Who doesn't love flowers and ribbon? What a perfect match we have with Petaloo and May Arts ribbon. The hard part, cruel really, was trying to pick just a few ribbons to go with a few flowers. No one should have to go through that! :)  Nonetheless this is where I found myself when I created these two projects for you today.

When I saw this gorgeous lace I knew that I had to use it on my page.  I am a sucker for lace!  I think it softens up my page and adds just a little bit of girlie sweetness to my photo. 

I love CMC flowers.  I used some Smooch Spray to give the flowers a pale lilac color and then I used a darker purple Smooch and painted it on the edges and tips of the flowers to give them contrast.  The jeweled Estate Collection flower is the perfect compliment and I tied it all together with this gorgeous blue bow.

I had so much fun using this incredibly textured brown ribbon from May Arts. I used the ribbon to cover one of the mats behind my photo.  Isn't it yummy?  Flowers from the Petaloo Chantilly collection along with the Color Me Crazy Wild Spray bring such a fresh, natural feel to this page.

I just can't get enough lace and found that it fits perfectly with my ribbon clasp and brings a soft edge to my textured photo mat.

Hi There, Lynn here with a layout I created using some GORGEOUS Ribbons from May Arts and the ever so versatile flowers from Petaloo.I am FINALLY in a summery mood and as a result I've been creating beach themed layouts. As soon as I received the May Arts ribbons I honed in on two of them and thought - beach! I layered two of the ribbons over each other and layered Petaloo flowers and embellies over the ribbons. The ribbons and flowers look like they were made for each other and both compliment the patterend papers perfectly. Here's the result of all the layering ...

Hello blog friends! It's Tanisha here with a layout and card that I created for the May Arts/Petaloo blog hop. 

I created a flower border across the the top of my photo using tye dye daisies to add a little softness to this layout of my little guy.

Here's a close-up of the border.

I also used May Art's net and crinkled ribbons to create a vertical border down the side of my layout.  I cut the net ribbon so that it followed the curve of the scalloped border for added interest.

This card came together really easily.    I added dazzlers to the centers of 2 die cut butterflies and added a few velvet leaves to the striped grosgrain ribbon.
